Welcome to the Alpha Zeta chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity!
The Alpha Zeta chapter of Alpha Tau Omega was founded at Mercer University in 1880 and seeks to continue developing men of Leadership, Scholarship, Brotherhood, and Character. Alpha Tau Omega is the foremost Leadership Development Fraternity; last year ATO's at Mercer held over 20 offices in outside organizations, including six organizational presidents. Our chapter is also committed to the community, donating over $14,600, and volunteering for more than 4,000 hours of service, which corresponds to around 96 hours per man. The chapter also received the True Merit award which is given nationally to ATO chapters that excel academically, socially, and philanthropically. Out of every fraternity on campus, we hold the highest GPA. Alpha Tau Omega is ultimately committed to developing young men while offering a brotherhood based upon eternal and immutable principles.
"Alpha Tau Omega holds before the young men of the country an ideal and something greater than a mere intellectual ideal. Alpha Tau Omega stands for heart as well as head. It has given men a true ideal of life."
